This website www.bigbluemarine.ae is owned and operated by BIG BLUE MARINE EQUIPMENT TRADING LLC

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE.

  • United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile.
  • Minors under the age of 18 shall are prohibited to register as a User of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.
  • If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection.
  • The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.

Access to and use of this Website, products, and services available on this Website, are subject to the following terms and conditions. By using the Services, you hereby agree to all of the Terms of Service, as may be updated from time to time. Visitors to this website are advised to regularly to take notice of any changes /updates that may have been made to the Terms of Service.

This Website may contain links to other websites which are not operated by us; therefore, we have no control over the Linked Sites and hereby regret to accept any responsibility for any loss or damage that may arise from those links or sites. Your use of the Linked Sites will be subject to the terms of use and service contained within each such site.

Contracting Parties:

The boat trip is concluded between the client, on the one hand, and the owner of the boat, represented by Big Blue Marine on the other hand.

Obligations / protocols:

We stay obliged, by the UAE Coast Guards, to obtain one of the valid identity of client, therefore, the client shall present his/her passport, a copy of his/her passport, UAE Resident Permit or UAE driver’s license/Emirates IDbefore getting on board the hired sports fishing, or cruise.

In case of late arrival, Big Blue Marine would try to entertain you completely in terms of offering bit extra time as a courtesy until and unless boats are not in constricted schedule or not violating Marina and showroom timing policy

The client is obliged to confirm the number of guests who will be accompanying him/her on board, at least 24 hours before his/her trip. We recommend our clients/lessee to declare the age groups of their guests who will join them on the boat especially children in their party.

The boat shall be deemed to have been hired over from the moment the client/lessee has moved onto the boat with his/her companions/guests.

If the boat shown on the website is not available on the day of the sailing for any reason, we will substitute another boat of the same size and quality.  We cannot 100% guarantee that you’ll be on the exact boat shown in the pictures, but Big Blue Marine will assure you the quality of service in any circumstance.

The children shall remain the sole responsibility of their parents or guardian. We shall not be held responsible for any liability or additional expense they may be caused by injury, sickness or death. Further, we regret to accept liability for any personal harm or injuries either caused to you or your guests while having recreational activities either on or off the board. These may include any sort of sporting, fishing, swimming, or any other activities.

Wearing of flat shoes is required. Shoes with heels are not allowed on board. However, our guests may bring a pair of clean slippers or soft sandals to wear onboard.
On booking with us, we complement our clients with services of the boat’s captain and a crew member, the equipment for fishing and refreshments that include water and soft drinks .

Cancellations:

It is mandatory for our guest to pay the full cost of trip or cruise at the time of booking ;ieat least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

We may cancel or postpone your trip due to events beyond our control, such as mechanical problems, bad weather, or Coast Guard restrictions. If this happens, we will either issue you a full refund or work with you to reschedule your trip.
Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment

Cancellation Charges:

72 Hours prior to the booking date and time: 30/% of the total booking amount.
48 Hours prior to the booking date and time: 50/% of the total booking amount.
24 Hours prior to the booking date and time: 100/% of the total booking amount.

In case we fail to provide the boat on the agreed date because of unseaworthiness as a consequence of damage incurred during the previous charter or because of any other reason beyond our control, we shall provide the client:

  • A boat that is at least of equivalent standard/capacity,
  • Refund the booking fee or
  • Provide due assistance in rescheduling the trip

However, the guest shall not have the right to assert any further claim for damages.
Guest shall acknowledge the captain’s authority at all times. All navigational affairs remain under his sole authority as well as all equipment onboard and its use. The captain has the right to prohibit any activity deemed unsafe. Any kind of anti-social behavior shall also be discouraged, strictly. The captain is liable to inform the police about any such behavior and has also the authority to cut the trip short if deemed necessary. All such decisions remain at his sole discretion.

  • Big Blue Marine would not be liable for any loss of assets, injuries/death (which would occur during activities & trip) & unsatisfied service. However, Big Blue Marine team would assist in all aspects to avoid such losses.

Online Payments

We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED (or any other agreed currency).

Booking Policy

  • The Website will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctionscountries in accordance with the law of UAE”.
  • Multiple bookings/rentals may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement

Other Policies

  • Boat trips all subject to the following rules of etiquette, at the discretion of our captains. You will not be allowed to be on the boat if you:
    1. Show signs of intoxication
    2. Show signs of infectious disease
    3. Are pregnant woman
    4. Are physically at-risk for adventurous activities (subject to captain)
    5. Are unruly or otherwise disrupt the enjoyment of the other participants or put the crew at risk in any way
    6. Have pets then pets are not allowed to be on boat
  • This list is not all-inclusive, and enforcement is the sole responsibility of the captain or crew.  If the captain crew determines that there is a violation of any safety or health standard, we cannot be responsible for a refund.

UAE Law abidance:

Our clients are advised to ensure their strict abidance to the following laws and practices of UAE, while on board:

  • UAE law makes Captain and crew member contingent mandatory for charters.
  • Individuals, on board, shall not exceed the quantity mentioned in the charter of registration.
  • Individuals, below the 21 years of age, shall remain under the supervision of a devoted adult.
  • Refrain from violating UAE regulations regarding consumption of alcohol and fishing.
  • All types of pets and animals are strictly prohibited from taking on board.
